Setting Up Your Branding

How to customize your logo, colors, and professional profile

Setting Up Your Branding

Your branding makes your site uniquely yours. This guide walks you through setting up your logo, choosing colors, and completing your professional profile.

Your logo appears in the site header and helps visitors recognize your brand.

  1. Go to Settings → Branding
  2. Find the Logo section
  3. Click Upload Logo
  4. Select your logo file (PNG or SVG recommended)
  5. Click Save

Logo Tips

  • Use a transparent background — PNG or SVG files with transparency look best
  • Keep it simple — Complex logos may not display well at small sizes
  • Provide light and dark versions — If your logo is light-colored, upload a dark version too for light mode

Light and Dark Mode Logos

Your site supports light and dark viewing modes. You can upload separate logos for each:

  • Light mode logo — Shows on light backgrounds (typically a darker logo)
  • Dark mode logo — Shows on dark backgrounds (typically a lighter logo)

If you only upload one logo, it will be used for both modes.

Choosing Your Theme

Themes control the overall look and feel of your site.

Theme Presets

Choose from four professionally designed presets:

Keep it concise—2-3 paragraphs is ideal.

Troubleshooting

Logo looks blurry

  • Upload a higher resolution image (at least 400px wide)
  • Use SVG format for the sharpest display

Colors don't look right

  • Make sure you're entering valid hex codes (e.g., #ffffff not ffffff)
  • Check both light and dark modes
  • Some colors may need adjustment for accessibility (contrast)

Profile photo not updating

  • Clear your browser cache
  • Try uploading a different file format (JPG vs PNG)
  • Ensure the file is under 5MB
